Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is short because we collect very little — there are two forms and nothing else.
Who is responsible
Viridian Grids, based in Sofia, Bulgaria, decides how the data described below is used and is the controller for it under the GDPR.
What we collect
Only what you type into one of the two forms, plus the ordinary request logs any web server keeps.
- Free check form — the website address, your name, your email, and optionally your company. Used to run the check and send you the report.
- Contact form — company, website, name, email, optional phone, what you need, and your message. Used to answer you.
- Server logs — IP address, browser and requested page, kept briefly by our hosting provider to run and protect the site.
Why we are allowed to
Both forms are you asking us to do something, so the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Server logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and unabused. You are never required to give us anything — not filling in a form simply means we cannot reply.
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no social widgets and loads no fonts or scripts from anyone else. Nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising network, because nothing about your visit is collected beyond the server log. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Who else sees it
Two service providers, both acting on our instructions and both bound by contract:
- Vercel — hosts this website and serves the two form endpoints.
- Our email provider — delivers the form submission to our inbox and carries our reply to you.
- Nobody else. Your details are never sold, rented, or passed to a marketing list.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead anywhere is deleted within 24 months. If you become a customer, we keep what the contract and Bulgarian accounting law require, and no longer. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner and we will.
What you can ask for
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything wrong
- delete it
- restrict or object to what we do with it
- hand it to you in a portable format
If you are unhappy
Tell us first — it is one person reading, and most things are fixed the same day. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни, cpdp.bg).
Questions about any of this go to [email protected] and reach a person, not a ticket queue.
